i got a sunl sla-109 for the kids, but i'm having issues.

the machine comes with a toggle that will start and stop the atv. this works fine. however, it works REGARDLESS of whether the keyed ignition is in the start position (or in the machine at all).

but wait, it gets more interesting. regardless of how i fiddle with the toggle or the ignition key, the start and kill switch on the hand grip don't work at all. of course, you can stop the atv with the toggle.

any ideas?????????

The remote start will work at all time, if the key is in the unit or not! That is the way it is designed. As far as the start and kill on the handle bars are you holding in the hand brake when you are trying to start it from the handle bars?? You need to hold in the brake for the handle bar starter button to work! If you are and it still is not working for you check the 2 wires that are connected to the safety switch located right under the hand brake. If they are not plug in tight the ATV will not start from the switch. If they are plugged in tight then unplug them and touch them together to buy pass the safety switch and see if it works then!

great advice!!! it turns out that the two connections under the hand brake lever were loose. machine now starts fine. however, the kill switch still doesn't work and i must use the toggle to stop the engine. any ideas about this?

PS - i've ordered parts for the kids' kazuma from raceway and have been VERY impressed. my next kids' atv will be a raceway machine, no question about it!!!
