Any Raptor riders/tuners know way to turn the idle mixture screw(s) for a richer/leaner idle mixture? Thanks in advance!

Mikuni told me that what the air/fuel screw adjusts depends on what side of the carb slide it is on . If it is on the side closest to the engine it adjusts fuel. If it is on the side furthest away from the engine it adjusts air. The air/fuel screws on the Raptor are on the side closest to the engine. Turning them in cuts off fuel making the mixture leaner. Out makes it richer.

mrexcitment...I believe you are right. I checked my settings yesterday evening and the right side was 2 turns out and the left side was 3 turns out (keep in mind this is'nt the factory settings-mine has been reset at my dealer). So turning the screws in (clockwise) apparantly richens the mixture.

My dealer told me that OUT (would be counter-clockwise if it is a standard thread) richens it.

There might be some confusion here since the adjustments are on the bottom of the carb. Also, when you say pilot jet adjustment, are you talking about the air/fuel mixture screw that I'm talking about?

Yea...the mixture screws operate the pilot jets. The position of the carb should'nt make a difference when adjusting the mixture screws clockwise/counterclockwise. I'll try to find more info. concerning tuning the mixture screws.

On any Mikuni I have ever seen the pilot screw adj. is out for rich, in for lean. There is no air screw on Mikunis.
