Default Touch up Paint - Honda Racks

I need some black touch up paint for my Honda racks. Are these a pretty "standard" black, or do I need an exact color match?

Suggestions where to purchase?

Thanks....

Go to wal-mart and get a can of truck bed paint it has ruff texture to it and works great!

I am not wanting to paint the entire racks. Just fix up a few small spots. I was able to find the Stock Honda black online at a couple of places. The color code is NH1 or NH1Z.

I say just buy a can of gloss black spray paint, spray a piece of metal with it and compare it with the paint on the rack.
I may get some of that textured paint and touck up the racks on the Bruin.

I am surprised the paint came off so easily. It was from the Tie-Downs. I have high quality tie downs with rubberized ends. Never been a problem before. The newer Honda racks just seem like regular paint on the metal. Seems like older models, it was almost a rubber coating on them.

Thanks.....

If you want them to be durable you can take them off, have them stripped and powder coated, but the reality is that its a bike, it sees some rough enviroments so touching up a few spots is probably the best way to go. I go over my entire bike every year, its a 1998 and still looks like new. Touching spots prevents rust (a big problem here on the east coast) I just use tremclad black, its close enough, as the shine wears off the racks and the touched up spots you'll soon never tell where you touched up the paint.
