i have a 1991 honda 350 trx, that idles but wont run. we replaced the fuel pump and spark plug, drained the float bowl made sure it had oil in it and charged the battery up in it so it had power to roll the engine over. but as soon as you touch the throttle to move it, it bogs down and stalls. any ideas? starting to have withdrawls from not being able to drive my bike. (lol)

 

I have never worked on a 350D except for fitting a CDI to one with a butchered wiring harness, so thought I would let someone else answer this. However nobody has so, clean the carb out with compressed air. There should be generic videos of how to do it on the net. That strange hinged dashpot carburettor is a mystery to me but, if the float bowl and jets are clean, this may cure the problem.

 

thanks i will give that a try. i was also toying with idea of timing issues. had a truck that the timing chain went in it and acted the same way.
