Default Making it tough

Buying my first ATV. Looked at the eiger 400 Auto as I had posted earlier. Today I stopped at Artic cat. They gave me about the same price on 400 auto with plow and winch. This would have a Artic Cat plow on it. I read where they are plastic. Anyone have any experence with artic cat plows? Any coments on any of the above welcome. Thanks

Even without the plow, i would get the Cat for minnesota, if you like to drive in the snow. It has a good 4x4 system, and the best ground clearance. Im not sure on what the plow is made of, but im sure its not just a cheap plastic thats going to break. I would definately get the AC, and they are giving you a winch also, its too good of a deal to refuse, IMO

Thanks for the reply. I talked to a few people today and most had some experence or knew someone that did. And most said there was not a problem with this type of plow. All said its for snow and NOT dirt, which I can understand that. Some said storage is important with this type material. Storing it outside in the direct sun light may not be wise and unlevel surface. I also have decided on the AC. Eiger is a very good machine, I would bet. The AC will cost a little more but I feel the package I get with AC , and the AC is a little more machine. So I guess I will find out soon. Thanks again. Keppy

I would even get the cat, it is the same engine and tranny but it has better ground clearance and I think that it has a locking diff on the front, That is the only upgrade that I would want for my eiger.
