mines a 05 with dirt devils on the rear!! plan on putting hmf pippe on it ,dyno jet kit and kn airfilter and hl lift kit with some vampires!! what about ures!!

 

1999 and all stock with around 400 hours and still my fav quad for a quick trip across the field to shoe the vultures away.

Had a 99 we bought new, and just sold it for a new 250EX. Actually, the EX will do anything the Recon will, except it doesn't have as good mud protection or racks. But it's 50 pounds lighter, and that's a huge performance advantage.

I have 05 Recon ES. I love it so far. Took it out Sunday went on the sandbar. Did great stock. Also went through some mud got stuck in the really deep stuff, but was still able to go through the mud. Luckily I had a winch to pull myself back out.

 

i have an 04 recon, all stock has alota problems though, the dealer riped me off, has a million miles on it(not literally, just alot) and i want a new quad, a rancher or something, it woiuld be nice if the recon was 4x4 or even had a kit to make it 4x4 but nope

 

yah but then if u wanted 4x4 you would need more power then thats how they made the rancher 4x4!!

 

I have a 2004 recon....all stock and I love it. She's small and nimble enough for fairly aggressive trail riding and also rugged enough for moderate work (mostly hauling and plowing).
