i got my carb back in my quad installed and now when i let off the gas it pops is this a lean or rich condition thanks.

Usually means rich... how do your plugs look?

 

When letting off the gas and popping is called a lean pop usually. Although holly might be right.

 

i just installed new plugs in it so it doesnt show anything yet

 

I was having that prob so i turned my pilot jet back in and adjusted it that way but I am having a problem with my quad and its due to my carb/ventilation on my gastank can you guys help me please. I have a 185 main jet with a K&N,alba full system and airbox lid off thats what they said to do...but there is a problem and need some tips my plug I took it out today and it has a white tip and half of the porcelin is black and the other half is white...so i decided to mess with my pilot a little and right when i turned it one turned and reved to low rpms it started to backfire out of my exhaust do you recommend changing my main to bigger or smaller or what thanks.

Sounds like its sucking air.Check your intake boots on the carb and make sure
they are installed corectly.This has happened to me,not saying im right it just
sounds familiar.

 

yea they were on right and tight but its a good idea its weird how simple things make things complicated my quad is running lean so im gonna fix that and it could also be the vent for the gas tank
