WD40 as CARB cleaner?
#6
I dont use it for cleaning carbs unless thats all i got..BUT when you slide your airbox hose on to your carb.. I spay WD-40 on the rubber so it will slide up on the carb easy and i think when it drys it helps seal the rubber to the carb..

What Doyle says really helps. I used WD-40 when I was rejetting the carbs and had to remove them alot. It also makes it alot easier to side the carbs back in the intake boots without any trouble.

Keep in mind, WD40 has a drying agent in it too. Might cause problems later down the road. Some marine grease will make them slide on easy too, and help provide a better seal.
