I know they do not have odometer, but does anyone have any idea what the gas mileage is? What is a good price for an 1999 model honda 300 4x4 in good shape?

 

I sold my '96 300 4x4 a year and a half ago for $2400. It was in excellent shape though. It seems like those things will run forever. If I had to be isloated somewhere in the world with only the quad and gas (no spare parts), that is the quad I would want.

I can't tell you for sure about the milage. I know there are several times that I ran it all day on a tank. It depend on how you drive it, of course, but I would guess it gets in the high 20's.

 

I am not sure what the actual gas mileage would be but when I use mine for work, 5 to 6 hour stretch, going around the fields in first and second gear, I still do not get on reserve. I say it sips the gas.

The value on these models is hard to figure because an example in good shape will command top dollar. The trx300 4x4 was one of hondas best models ever made for reliability.
