Default Buyin New ATV's Prices offered to me...

Located AZ

Suzuki Z400 for $5500 OTD (out the door price) I offered $4900 to $5000 OTD
Suzuki LT-450R for $6117 OTD I was leary on this price but offered $5500 OTD

Honda TRX 450R '05 model $5675 OTD I offered $4800 to $5000 OTD I believe I was gonna get this deal, dealership said bye-bye.
'06 model $6400 OTD Forget it
'07 model $7200 OTD Forget it

Polaris '06 outlaw $6500 OTD Forget it

I am new here on the forums and this is my first post to try to get an understanding where these over priced ATV's are selling for. I would like to know what people are paying for the ATV's listed above. I have tried tooth and nail to hammer a deal with 4 different dealerships. I am so frustrated that they are not being reasonable on their deals otherwise unless I am misinformed on these prices. Let me make this story short...I am not interested in dumping cash in your pocket but a steal at a low price. I have excellent credit 720 score points...so credit is not an issue.

Any tips or insight on how I can get the quad I want for prices that will put a smile on my face and not feel like I have gotten ripped off as usual? I used to ride these quads and sport bikes 6 years ago. I am so shocked on how the prices have been elevated and how weak the US Dollar is. I would be thankful of any feedbacks on prices.....

squeege,

You would be surprised how many suckers we have here on the west side of the USA. Here is an example, a guy that appears to be around 24 years of age. The man walks in and says man these Suzuki Z400's are hot! The next question is....how much. Salesman speaks, "Retail $5895 plus $786 tax, $200 set up fees, $130 basic expense, and $150 shipping.....blah blah then final price out the door would be $7150.00!!! The customer says, "wow great deal where do I sign?" The customer leaves the store with the Z400 quad...

I have known people to walk out the door with these new Z400 for $4900 to $5100 price range. Oh why can't I have one? squeege, you summarized the west part of the USA....Suckers! The dealership would rather sell to suckers than bargain seekers like me.

squeege,

One dealership offered 2 '06 Z400 for $10,000 OTD to me if I buy both. If I wanted one Z400, the dealership wants $5500 OTD. I don't need 2 of them.
