Is this true 300 ft dragsters?

2 Years ago would have sworn MR HP 650 ran a 4.6 in 300ft on all motor and stock frame, After some research I came to the the conclusion that his bike must have weighed near a whopping 400lbs. I wish Eric would correct me if im wrong. This was a built stock bore around the same weight as my bike. Im gonna run 300ft soon and was wondering what some good times were for my similar set up. I know Eric is good on the light, But for that heavy of a bike NOT being on nos that seems like a good # for a stock bore stock chassis. Anyone know?

Mario he did run in the 4.6s with his 650, I have a pic of the bike and will look at it tonight. My bike at the time was about 365+ and his bike had more weight on it than mine. He did not even have paddles on it at the time LOL

Right on Joe, I have hope!!!!!! Adds some nos and paddles and he could have done better.. Also it looks like he was running stock boat ancor gun drilled axle.

I looked that 4.6 DS over very carefully..............considering it is a picture and all, lol.
That bike is setup exactly like mine is......except the handlebars........I am still OEM. I bet that bike weighs between 400 and 425.

We are talking about a machinist who had done a lot of R and D
Axle, short aluminum swing arm, aluminum a-arms, steering stem, front hubs, front tires and wheels, rear hubs, .......... Yes, I will take a bet........
I have seen that bike in person and I know that the frame is OEM, but everything else......

I dont think so Richard.. I remember the rumor......... someone I know down here did a full investigation just to find out that it was REALLY stock stroke 650. The bike was very light and it was not stroked. Even 400 lbs is light considering to get to that point you have to dump 120 lbs he was probly 370ish. He is good on the light it was a legit run im sure. It does give the stock bores all motor hope. im lookin into some 300ft drags. Id like to come down to that one drag strip by you. I think it would be great to get the bikes runnin 300ft shootout and see how they stack up on one of their less busy days. I dont even need a wheely bar unless its mud. I want to see how your bikes run now a days. I havnt had that chance. lets set something up for the track closer to seligman. When I go to selig ill just run up there for the day.
