Default Axle Help Needed Fast!!

Just got my durablue adjustable 2+4 axle from Dennis Kirk...first off i noticed there was no spacers for the +4 adjustment...secondly after awhile i found out that its for the older model ds...even tho i orderd it for 04...figure that one out. Anyways it will be prob a month before i get a new axle if i send it back and they will prob screw up and send the old axle again. My question is...whats the diff everything seems to fit such as the wheel hubs but do the break hubs fit the same for all models and are the bearing area on the axle the same??? could i just order a 00-03 sprocket hub and put it on my 04 ds? would everything fit fine?

The sprocket splines are to short for the longer version of 04 and up sprocket hubs....the splines on the 00-03 are shorter therefor take a shorter hub while the 04 and up have longer splines. My splines are to short for the snap ring to even come close to snapping on..so it has to be a 03 and below.

I have plenty of splines for both! paul at durablue says bombardier has changed the brake hubs quite a few times? talked to distubutor i got axle from he says its for the 2000-2003! curious if yours fits on axle or not? and if you no anything about brake hub changes?
