You can expect to go FAST!!
You will also learn what your machine needs if you are going to TT race.
ie: lowering kit, American racer tires, and a sway bar.
TT is awsome!
FYI: flat track is usually just an oval.
TT has an infield with right and left turns.

LT80.......yep, did it this weekend.......definately need the sway bar.......not sure about the tires though......some were running both.........and couldn't decide, but it was real wet, and loose on the "flat track corners". I've got a pretty low quad as is......but I need to stop my body roll......

Glad you had fun.
The track conditions at different tracks can guide you as to whether you need the tires.
The national TT tracks blue groove so the Other tires are a must for those races. Once upon a time, thoughts were to start a knobby TT series cuz of the tire cost. I thought it was a good idea.

ha....yeah that'd be nice.

I might get some tires later on.......I personally think a sway bar will help me more as of now....there was a blue groove, in the "flat track" corners, but when we went into the infield, it got loose and muddy.....I'd think my knobbies would be better there, but maybe not???

I had a yz80 that was labled as tt...I though it was tight track....it was a fast bike and I could slide it sideways and into a 180 without my feet leaving the pegs...that bike was fun..
