raptor 700 headlights

Default raptor 700 headlights

ever noticed thst when u sit on the bike the headlight that is on your left hand is "loose" easy to pull away, from the middle of the bike? is this designed on purpose like this to allow access to the coolant tank or is my raptor headlight mount have somethin wrong with it i tried to find what was wrong but i cant seem to find how it would be fastened any tighter check your 06 raptor and let me know matter of fact i tried to really torque the bolt on the mount and snapped it off like a dumbass so now i gotta drill it out and find what size fastner to use think it is an 8 mm but not sure it had an 8 on it thou( the one i broke) thanks

Default raptor 700 headlights

Most of the bolts holding the light\fender brackets to the frame are 6x1.0mm.

Default raptor 700 headlights

I noticed the same thing on mine too. thanks for preventing me from trying to tighten it. does anyone have an idea why it is a looser fit than the right 1?(or are yamaha just reinforcing the "lefty loosey righty tighty" thing to their mechanics?)
