man, i dont know about that one....sounds like a scam to me. a 2006 for $1000? that's just unreal. But it does say NOT to bid on it and to rather e-mail the seller first. Maybe he just put 1000 on the page to get people to look, and when you email him he actually tells the real price??

Notice the broken english in several spots, Not accepting bids through ebay and why would you list a 2006 Banshee in the "music memorabilia" section.

Also look at his other items up for sale. A John Deere 4520 tractor with loader for $5200. Free shipping. Holy Crap sign me up. It only retails for $30,000 with the options it has on it. Oh, and it is listed in internet games "scroll of power"....

What is sad is someone will send this idiot a deposit and then bitch when he loses his money....

 

yeh seems like a scam to me, they do it with loads of items! but i like to see their item end with zero bids, so they have to pay listing fees and for nothing.........haha

 

yeah what got me to looking was the BUY IT NOW...2500.00 LOL yea right...well i just wanted to post so everyone would see the scam..

Believe me, It doesn't matter if they want you to email them 1st, or pay with a check, they have every angle covered. I did a lot of research on this 4 years ago when I bought my Raptor, and couldn't believe how crafty these scammers are. I found a Raptor supposedly right across the Canadian border from me. I emailed the guy and told him I'd like to look at it. He answered with "I live in B.C. , but if you just send me a certified check, I'll send it with free shipping directly to your house". I said,"You're in luck. I live just 8 miles from your border crossing. I'll meet you at the border with the check in my hot little hands." He sent the same answer, Then he never talked again. I tried to email him a day later, and his email address was no good anymore.
