Buying a new Eiger 400. Dealer wants $300. for 1st 100 mile Maint Service. Seems a lot of money to me. Change Oil and filter check nuts and bolts and check valve clearance. What do you all think? I'm willing to pay if I'm not being screwed!

 

No way! I took my quad in for the initial service after more like 20 hours and just had them adjust the valves. Changing the oil and checking bolts and such you can do yourself. The only thing is if you bought an extended warranty you might be obligated to it. Dealers and manufacturers seem willing to disqualify a warranty for the stupidest little things.
