***Who makes aftermarket plastic for the 250R?***
#2
I wrestled with the decision on what to buy-400ex or Raptor? I drove to OK and bought a nice, stock 86 250R! AWESOME!!
The plastic is to nice to race with. Besides Maier who makes aftermarket plastic? What does it cost and does it hold up well?
Expect more questions over the next 3 months as I prep the 250R for the 2001 GNCC season.
Thanks for the help.

fullbore is $$$$$$$$$$$$$expensive
stock honda is $$$$$$$$$$expensive
Maier is cheap
Have you considered stock 400ex plastic?
It can be purchased for about $350.00 including complete seat, front fenders, rear fenders, and side panels. you can get either red (my choice) or yellow. check it out it might be something you are interested in.
Thanx,
BJ

I have seen 400ex plastic on a 250R.
How do the front fenders and side panels fit on?
Can I use a larger gas tank with this plastic?
By the way, who else besides IMS makes larger capacity tanks for the 250R? I want 4 plus gallons if possible.
Thanks.
