Default kymco mongoose 90, steering bushing

I took my son riding last weekend and at some point in the ride, the steering bushing broke apart or something because it is missing. Im wondering if anyone knows if that bushing is plastic or rubber? Im having a hard time finding it so i was just going to make it out of heater core hose or something. Any ideas? This is a 04 mongoose 90.

looks like its a hard plastic.. rubber would cause binding.. You could probably make one out of a pc of pipe or something.

Kymco are one of the few Chinese makers that have a good spares supply. Check on eBay, there should be lots of Kymco spares suppliers on there. They may just list starters and plastics but will have other parts.

You can also look for parts under Artic Cat 90 and Kawasaki KFX 90. If the Kymco 90 you have is the same as a 2007 model.
