Default clutch disc on Yamaha 350 Warrior

I installed new clutch disc's on my 350 warrior. I didn't soak them in oil before I installed them. I bought them from a friend that had thrown the box a away. I haven't started the bike yet or put oil in it yet. Can I fill it up with oil and let it sit on it's side for a couple of hours if they need to be soaked. Also i have hardly no clutch right now with no oil in it. Is that right until I put the oil back that I feel a good clutch? I just rebuilt the whole clutch. I had just read where they need to be soaked on another web site. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Look, don't start the engine up. Putting the quad on its' side MIGHT work, but you can't be positive all the plates are completely bathed in oil. I would chalk it up to experience and pull them back out. Also, the instructions say to let them sit for maybe a few hours, but they are better off sitting overnight.

That mite work..but you will have to work the clutch lever in and out to get oil were it needs to be...Man take it from me..Just take them back out..and put them in oil over night....Do it right the first time...Or you could be sittin on the trail as your buddies are ridding...
