Default New 500 Foreman spit and sputtered once in the mud???

I have my 06 Foreman and got off into a mudhole today and it started sputtering in 1st gear. I haven't had that happen before, but this is the first real time I have ridden it since I installed the Dynojet kit etc.. I went into the hole in 2nd gear and stopped because I was behind someone. Then when I dropped it into first and hit the gas it was sputtering the whole time. It had enough power to pull out and as soon as I got out it quit sputtering. I couldn't get it to do it again. I was thinking that maybe I had a breather line or something stopped up by chance on the carbeurator. I know when I piped off my 300 years ago if the top carb vent line was blocked it would cut off as soon as I stopped up the bottom line in 1 foot of water.
Anyway, I tried stopping in the creek with water almost as high as when I hit the mud hole and it never sputtered at all. So I am kind of at a loss of what could have caused it. I am going to check out the carb area good tomorrow to see if somehow I may have pinched a breather line when I installed the Dynojet kit, but I am pretty sure that isn't it because this thing runs SOOOOO good now and this was the only incident.
Anybody heard of this happening before on the 500 or the Rincon?

Maybe one reason is the vent lines from the carb were blocked or you motor built up enough steam to choke the air going into the airbox. You should run the vent lines up to the pod. And if you like to play in mud and water you should snorkle it. You wont have this problem again. This is the same thing that happens to the Rincon. Because of where the intake is steam builds up right under the plastic of the fuel tank and it smothers the air. Once I put the snorkle on and ran the lines up I can go up past the seat in water and it still runs like it is on the road. JM2C!

Great thanks! I started investigating today and noticed that on this model they had 2 vent lines out of the carb and both of them were only about 3-4 inches long and didn't go up under the gas tank. That kind of sucks, I had planned on getting me some new hose and running those 2 lines up under the tank. I decided not to pipe this one off like the ones in the past, I just don't want to be putting this one thru that stuff again. Thanks for the info..
