i just bought a 87 250x on friday.. yesterday i took it on an all day trip.. i have to say, i'm impressed. it climbs, jumps, wheelies, trailblazes, keeps up with traffic, just about anything i did, it didnt hesitate.. till the end of the day when i stripped the front sprocket.
buddy i got it from put a new chain and back sprocket on it 2-ish months ago, its a new d.i.d x-ring on it, so i dont want to have to buy a whole new setup.
what can you guys recommend for a front sprocket? i think the stock is a 13-tooth, i want to go down to a 12 for more power.. will it affect my top speed a whole lot? it'll do 100kmph now.
and, he has the baffles pulled out of it, does this affect the jetting/valves? should i have it jetted?
