Default buying liquid cooled ,efi or used air cooled , resale value?

No matter what you buy now, by the time you go to sell it again you will lose money (unless you buy a rare quad like 250r, quadzilla, banshee etc...). Especially if you buy a new quad, they just depriciate really fast all I can tell you is to buy what you want something you plan to hold onto for a while.

Yep, quads depreciate really fast--just like cars. The only way to avoid SOME of this depreciation is to buy a used quad.

Forget about resale value unless you are the guy that buys a new one every year or two. 400EX resale is down because it used to be the top dog sports model. Now it is midpack at best, yet MSRP is a bit high for its' standing. Now there is nothing wrong with the 400, it is a very competent quad worthy of ownership. Take good care of whatever you buy and you will always be able to sell it. Since these things are luxury items, There is always some kid looking for a deal.
