Default what should i do?

ok i am 15 about 6 feet tall and 200lbs. i dont really want to put money into my 87 lt230s. would a blaster be a good quad for me? i would like to race if that helps.

A Blaster has a lot more potential, but the frame is still the same size as your LT. At your age and size, I would look for a 400. Actually, I would investigate the series you want to race in, find out what classes you are eligible for, and then figure out what to buy.

i want a 400 more but i dont have the money for it. i figured a blaster would be the cheaper way out.

Get an old lt250r. I got mine for $1350, and I've seen some desent ones around for under $1000. It's a huge step up from a blaster in size and power. I would recommend an 87-92 year, but the 85-86 are still better than a blaster in my opinion.

perhaps an older warrior or 400ex?
