Hey i looked everywhere for the year and no luck i found the serial number? I need to know the year because i need to get a new rear axle? please help iam a new rider!

look at the 10th number on the VIN and it should tell you the year it was manufactured.

 

The axles are interchangeable for any year 230 q-sport 85-88. You can also use one from any year 230E as they are identical. (230E was made from 87-93) I'm not positive about the 89-90 250 qsport, but I suspect it will work as well.
However, I wouldn't buy a new stock axle if I were you. If you like the stock width, check out eBay for a used stock one. If you'd like a slightly wider axle, you can get a used stock 250 quadracer axle from 85-88 fairly cheap on eBay from time to time. (I currently have one on my sport.) This will give you about 3 inches of extra width. Do not get an 89-92 250 qracer axle as they had larger hub splines.

If you still want to know the year of your sport, you can tell by the color combo of the plastic, frame, and seat as long as there all stock.

85 - black frame, orange plastic, black nose piece, black seat with yellow hollow SUZUKI letters.
86 - black frame, redish-orange plastic, black nose piece, blue seat with white hollow SUZUKI letters.
87 - blue frame, white plastic, black nose piece, blue seat with white hollow SUZUKI letters.
88 - blue frame, white plastic, blue nose piece, blue seat with solid SUZUKI letters.
