ok so im new to these forums but im having a problem with my 01 raptor 660 sometimes when i try to start it i get this spinning sound and no turn over i think its the starter but when i roll the quad forward sometimes it will start dont know what it is any input would be greatly appreciated thank you

 

Sounds like your starter one way.The next time it free spins put it in gear and rock it back and forth,then try to start it again.If it catches and starts its your one way.You can buy a new one at ripper racing.Raptor tranny .com has direction on how to replace it.They cost 200 bucks for a new one.I used one in my 01 rap.and no problems.
