Shift properly. I used to powershift...and I guess the spring that brings the shifter back into place is broken, or whatever, but the shifter stays down if I don't bring it back up (taking everything apart as soon as I have time). I run any high performance oil.

Keep it clean, do basic maintance on it (oil,exc..) and it should last a long time.

Broke My ;Banhsee,
Are you going to keep the FZR in one piece? I know you were wondering about putting that motor in a blaster or something..

Yeah its staying in one piece.. It is REALLY nice, quite amazing for an 88, looks like a newer one. Just under 9,000 miles. Ill get some more pictures soon, that one does not do it justice, looks sweet, has a red winshield which I thought was cool. Killer bike but WAY too big for me.. its a monster. I think Im going to shine it up and sell it or trade it for a new(er) 97+ blaster or whatever, mabe a dirtbike.. I should make out pretty good on the deal, its a very nice bike.
