Banshee pipe shootout magazine article?
#1
Does anyone have a copy of the Banshee pipe shootout from the sept. '95 issue of 3&4 wheel action? I would love to read the whole article. Maybe someone could scan it? More pipes may have come out since then but it would still be interesting to read. Thanks

The shootout was for the best bottom/midrange pipe. Paul Turner/Duncan won by a land slide, Toomey's came in second. I bought the PT's and haven't been sorry, but most sand hill racers think they don't have enough top end. Guess it depends on what type of riding you do.

Hiya,
I recall a shootout... I don't know which magazine or year...
But the Duncan's, T-5, CT, Trinity, LRD adjustable, DG, Bill's and FMF were in the shootout.
The shootout declared the Toomey T-5 the best overall banshee pipe. It made the second most horsepower at around 46.5. The CT's made 47.1.
The Duncan pipes had the most low end but topped out only in the 40 horsepower range.
The T-5's made the most power over the longest power band.
