Does anyone else have a Rubicon that acts like this?;

I recently bought this bike and am still getting to know it. Once I enter deep water (2 - 3' deep) and throttle wide open, the engine has very low revs and seems to be on the verge of stalling. It will push through, slowly with no wheel spin. In mud, sand or on dirt, the bike rips and flys.

Is this normal for a 500cc engine?

 

I'd say you have a leak in the airbox that lets water in
