Aaen vs. gutted duals
#3
I have been looking at that aaen pipe for some time and been waiting for comments from people who have run them. When you say your aaen is not doing good what do you mean? The stock pipes I have seen on here gutted or modified have run the exit straight out the rear with a turndown and some have done it to both of the duals and other just kept the right side one and plugged the crossover. I have never seen a dyno or timing tests to see the results. Others may have but I bet the gains are minimal.

i have had great luck with aaen call ask them they might replace it ? what are you out ? if you cut out you stock it will make it louder and gain a little power but with out proper back pressure will burn exhaust valves and decrese cylinder pressure and adventually loose power!!!!! and have to rebuild head. had to on old king quad exhaust went bad left it that way took less than a year to burn up valve was never the same just my opinion

True enough jordo on the gains but I guess it is all relative. Aaen's dyno results claim @3hp and 5 lb/ft with flatter curves on both. How did it feel to you? I agree with scramin if you liked it ask for a replacement-can't be that old on an 05 like mine
