Default 04 pred elect probs. pls help.

i am currently having some kind of electrical problems with my 04 predator 500. it's driving me nuts. almost feels like a bad ground but can't find one. here's the story(everytime out is the same): after riding for a while(anywhere from 30mins-3 hours) everythings fine and at operating temperature, boom, out of nowhere. complete power loss. everything. fan, injecters?, lights, etc, everything. i'll have no power, but when power starts coming back, the fan pulsates for approx 10 seconds, then kicks in full power. same with the whole electrical system. start up, ride for another random amount of time(10 secs-20 minutes), boom, goes down again. and so on and so on. i've heard about this problem happening, but know nothing about it. can anyone help me out. thanks, JDough

First welcome!!!! Second........I think there are two circuit breakers on the pred(I can't remember where the other one is....but usually this one I'm telling you about).......My guess is, its the breaker going bad. Does it "click" when the power comes back, especially from this spot??

The breaker is under the black plastic piece, on the left(shift lever) side........its packaged up in a "black tape" type cover......which is water proof. My guess is its this......I suppose a way to check would be possibly a test light, when it stops on ya......see if power in, and power out.....

Also........don't know if you know it or not.......but check out the site www.predatorowners.com
