02 grizz noise in belt area
#1
I have a 02 grizzley and it started making a whining noize in the belt housing when I slow almost to a stop.I replaced the belt but that didn't fix the problem, the old belt I replaced look as good as the new one , since I had it apart I replaced the belt because the old one had 3200 miles on it. Has anyone else had this problem ?

I cleaned everything in the belt housing and regreased the weights per grizzhopper.com and I still have the same noise, sounds like the noise is coming from the secondary sheave but I'm not sure and only when the machine is cold, after it warms the noise is gone. HELP!

Did you disassemble the secondary sheave? There are followers for the cam profile which could be siezed, or unlubricated or rusted. Also theres a spring which could be broke.
Youll probably need to take it apart and look it over.
