Default 98 polaris 300 help no electrical power

hi all I was replacing a faulty ignition switch today on my 300 xpress when I made a mistake and touched 2 of the wires with the run or stop switch still in the on position and it sparked and now I have no electrical power to the ign. switch wires. Is there maybe a fuse or something. What can I do to fix this problem.

Not sure with you model but being a Electrican start at the battery and follow it back with the volt meter and keep checking for voltage from the battery. You should come across a fusable link or in-line fuse .....The fusable link can not be repaired it must be replaced........but you can put a jumper wire in to by-pass it BE SURE THERE IS NOT A DEAD SHORT TO GROUND FIRST!!!!!!This should find where you loose power at BACK from the battery.................caper...............
