breaking chain please help gettin old

have o ring chain and have broke stock or generic chain i either break the side plates or shear off the master link wear the clip goes any help this is on a 99 scrambler with 100+ hp sled motor i also run 11 32 sprockets with explorer trans. i was told to go back to the 13 tooth gear on trans that it will put less stress on the chain fact fiction?? thanks

with that kind of power you probably should be buying higher quality chains. stock and generic chains are for just that. stock power.
got any pics of that scrammy? i would love to see that motor stuffed in there. always wondered how to do it.

just got it done and after some long months will try and put pics up soon went preatty good looks almost stock except for the large clutch cover goes good just have to get things worked out
one of the chains i roke was a 7,400 lb as they claim? and it snapped twice that was in the driveway so i dont know hope bigger sprocket gives it less stress
