I own a 2000 rancher I notice it squeaks alot when getting on or off, riding threw terrain that causes flex. I cant narrow it down either even after spraying half a can of wd40.

Could it be mud or something causing it?

 

hey, i had a squeak on my rancher and i thought it was the suspension, but after looking i found that the seat LATCH was making the squeak, everytime i hit a bump hard enough to push me off the seat, it would squeak. Just put some grease on the latch where it hooks to the frame piece and it's all gone now.

 

My 250ex had squeaks. It went away after taking the shocks off and lubing the hole and bolt that holds them together.
