I have a 2002 Honda Rancher 350 4x4. Does anyone know what the compression should be on this ATV. I have a compression guage and was going to check it tomorrow but I don't know what range it should be in.

97 psi

 

Are you positive it should be 97 psi . If I am checking mine correctly, mine is onlt 60 psi

 

It should be around 185 psi. To check it, make sure the choke is off, hold the throttle all the way open, hit the starter button for 3-4 seconds. If you don't hold the throttle open or the choke is on, you will get a very low reading.

 

it is 97 psi, that is directly out of my book, its not 185, do not listen to paul

 

Sorry, I was thinking it would be close to the Recon's compression. Do check it with the choke off and throttle full open, otherwise don't listen to me [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
