Will sprocket fit with stock chain? (300ex)
#1
Can anyone tell me if the stock chain will have enough adjustment if I were to change it to a 12 tooth or 14 tooth? I just need to know if there is enough adjustment there without changing the chain or rear sprocket.

yes there is room, you will end up having to either tighten or loosen it a bit from the stock tooth adjustment. In other words yes it will fit woithout having to change rear sprocket or chain.

Hey
Just got my 12 tooth sprocket today and it fit perfectly. I can't believe how much difference it made. I went from having to sit back really far and pop the clutch a little to get it to wheelie, now with the new sprocket it jumps right up with just throttle even when I'm sitting forward. The top speed is obviously lowered, but since I do mostly trail riding it's not a big deal to me.
Thanks again.

Actually I've got all that done to it already. I've owned this atv for roughly six years now. It's got a supertrapps IDS II exhaust, uni air filter, jet kit, airbox vent filters, fast trecker front tires, turf tamer rear tires, and AC nerf bars.
Thanks again
