Default whats your home made mods?

It would be nice to see what kind of homemade mods everyone has done to their atvs.

ex: racks, hitches, storage, performance, lighting, electrical etc...

I made a reese hitch reciver for my 06 scrammy. Saved 35 bucks, not much, but it helped buy beer

Took two pieces of 1/8 x 6 wide steel, but a slight bend on the bottom section, welded them together where they met, and welded a tube on top to except a reese hitch. Will upload pictures later.

Sawed of my front rack on top and bolted tubing supports across atop fenders to stock front bumper. I can bolt the rack back on when desired.

Welded expanded metal to front bumper for added radiator protection.

Heated air box cover to warp it to fit K&N filter to maintain air box seal. Punched to holes into air box lid to add two rubber vents for more flow.

Good thread!

X Kudos to the winch mount, I looked at your pics of your winch mount, and quickly decided i needed one too. 45 minutes with my welder and drill press and i now have a very slick winch on my Scrammy too. But I have learned to carry a ****** block as the Warn 1500 is a little under powered lol, but better than trying to push the bike out.

Me and my dad cut up an old rack and made a great sized cooler rack. Check my profile to see the pics.

It came of a rack stand we got over at the garage. I think I have a couple more, I would just have to dig around and find them.

I used a dog toy for a weight for my winch cable. Its a perfect color match also! You can see it in my 3rd to last picture. I had to drill the end out a little bigger to get the cable through, but it works great!
