What oil and ratio are you running? Did you change the plug and check the color? Are you running decent gas? Our LT80 takes a few to warm up and run correctly.

Why did you remove the oil injector, was there something wrong with it? If not put it back on, you may have the mixture wrong and you can do damage to the engine if the gas oil mix is off !

The oil injection was a mistake to begin with when they manufactured this bike. I think the feature is more for people who don’t want to take 10 seconds to learn how to use a ratio rite. If it fails your motor's toast. It’s a great idea to remove and mix 32:1 ratio is safe.

I am just picking up my LT 80 today after the oil injection failed. $ 470.00 for parts and labour. The pump failed with no idication, when, I have no idea. But after a long nice ride the quad would not start after a stop, next day checked compression and down to 65psi. There is no warning light or shutdown on the lt.
I was in the" what could go wrong" camp before this failed,

Sorry to hear this. Remove it! You can either cut the line and plug it with a tooth pick or what I did I cut the line that comes off the carb and used a vacuum line plug and blocked it. I can send you pics if you wish. Many companies sell the block off plate that mounts on top the clutch case. I can send you pics as well.

the reason I took it off is he is racing and I have put a lot of money into the motor and I want to make sure it is getting the proper oil I never trusted the injector anyway I am mixing 7oz to 2 gallons of racing gasbut I just re did the clutch and filled the case with 10 w 30 oil maybe that is the wrong oil but it smokes like it is just burning oil bad
