I have a 93 Yamaha warrior some guy i bought it from said the starter button didn't work so he went to advance auto parts and bought a switch from there that you push and start. It work for a couple rides then it started to fry them i went through three of them now i bought a new starter button i got everything hooked up but the starter button won't turn over at all no noise no nothing. I bought a new solenoid switch and my headlights work now but it still won't start i went through all the wires with the Ohms reader there all fine. Please help

I never did figure out what caused it, but one time my warrior stalled out, then when I went to restart it I pushed the button, and all i got was a snap. It blew the fuse, and it turned out that the button burnt up, as well as one of the wires between the starter button and relay.
What kind of switches were getting burnt up? Where were they connected? Was the switch put in place of the solenoid or something? Because the current flowing through the starter button should be pretty low when the solenoid is working properly.
