There's something major wrong with it, what are you waiting for, when a new machines starts losing oil, you have done something wrong to it. Bring it in to the dealer before you blow it up.

Glad to see some hope for you. How hard to you drive your machine and what kind of terrain do you go over. Make sure it is warmed up before you start riding hard.
It might be just a bad factory seal, i was told anything major that goes wrong under 1 YEAR yamaha will cover.

if that machine is under a year i would definitely take it to a dealer. just brought mine in this weekend, its almost four months OUT of warranty and they are covering all repairs, no questions asked. this may help as well............here is the number to the national yamaha customer service

I concur with the others, I have had several problems and Yamaha has come thru. Even after about one year. I must say that Yamaha has the best customer relations I have seen. It may take a few calls, but keep at them and they will make it right.
