yamaha big bear 350

just wondering about tires for my 4 wheeler big bear ,, it has tires on it now AT-25X8X12 (FRONT) ,AND AT-25X10X12(REAR) All 4 tires are the same brand .
i was wondering could i put tires on my 4 wheeler of different brands ,like 2 of one brand tire on the front ,and 2 of a different brand on the Rear.
and also wondering would it hurt if i were to put 4 tires of the same size in my ATV..
just wondering if i can go bigger or smaller if someday i was wanting too change the size.. thanks .

Being a 350 I would stick with a 25" tire, but I dont think a 26" tire would hurt. I think your better off staying stock sizes
8x12 in front and 10x12 in rear. I would think you should stay in one brand as the tread patterns would be different and could wear differetnly then other tires. I have seen quads with the same tires in the front as they have in the rear. Alot is preference. Good luck.

If you go bigger, make sure the front tires are the same size as the back tires, being full time fourwheel drive, its hard on the gears, because you are running a different gear ratio on the front and back. Make any sense??

Same height at any rate. I dunno if you could get a 12" wide front tire on the bear??
My buddy has used kenda bear claws on his and has gotten years of good service out of them.. the wear a long long time. He does a lot of riding and he's a big guy too (around 280lbs). Not sure if he has 24's or 25's on his 89 bear tho ...

Look at the Dirt Devils, and the Mudlites. You can go to a 26" tire no problem, but I would stay with the stock 8x12 and 10x12.
