Default Yamaha 400 big bear broken u joint yokes

The front u joint yokes broke recently on my 2000 Yamaha big bear 400, the only replacements I can find at a reasonable price are the rear yokes for a 1997 350 model, I would like to know if these would work. If not is there a good place to buy these cheap

Most yokes are made by Yamaha rather than bought in like the spiders, so you have to buy genuine parts and pay "genuine prices". Because the yoke splines wear on old Yams they soon get snapped up from breakers, so finding used ones will be difficult.

Use this site to see if the part numbers are the same.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse they might work . The Big Bear had a major change in 1993 but after that it just had a bore or stroke increase that changed it to a 400 from a 350 I think.
