We were going to go to Dumont but since most people seem the be getting there the day we are leaving (Friday after Thanksgiving) we are goign to to go Glamis with some friends. We will be there the Sunday before Thanksgiving through the Friday after Thanksgiving. If you are going to be there let me know I will try to look you up.

Yup, the blue buggy.... We normally camp off of Gecko around pad 4-5. I will let you know for sure if we tap that weekend or veterans weekend. It will be fun!

Is Glamis is during Thanksgiving still like hell to get a camping spot? We used to sendsome one out early to tape off sav a spot, we payed him for there food and drink and gas to just sit there and gaurd a spot big enough for us to park. If anyone has ever been to Glamis on a Thanksgiving week, they know Im not kidding when I say every single open area a trailer, tent, truck could fit was filled. But there great parties, lots of food at the venders ally, best of all somewhat naked females! and oh yeah some great quads also.
We go the weekend after when its cleared out some, but I do miss deep fyring turkeys at Glamis.

 

We are getting there the Sunday before Thanksgiving and leaving the day after at sunup for the 12 hour drive home. I hope we miss the worse of the crowds. This is our first trip to Glamis and the friends we are going with go every years and say its not that bad where we will be camping. Its past Gecko Rd., but I'm not sure just where it will be.
