I was wondering how many of you guys ramp 4x4s. I ramp mine quite a bit. What is your landing style? How big of jumps do you hit? Have you had any problems with your quads?

I hit pretty big jumps, and if I have enough time, I try to land almost vertical. Will this damage my swingarm? I also land on full power, what will this do to my clutch and bearings? My hubs are wearing out, and i was thinking that it was from ramping.

I gess what I need is a 400ex.

Sell your 300 4x4 and buy a sport quad. I jumped my recon and my 300 4x4. after about 4 weeks of jumping constantly it was a pain to keep both of them running and performing like they were ment to. Dont jump your 300 unless your ready to spend alot of $$$ in repairs

I broke the mounts to the rear rack, kind of bent a shock mount thingy. and blew 2 shock seals making oil run EVERYWHERE. thats only the problems from jumping. Racing it made the clutch burn up, broke 2 airbox brackets, bent the front bumper back into the plastic pretty bad, dented and warped all of the rims.... alot of other things I cant remember.
