Anyone know of a guard that will protect my motor if the chain was to come off. I want the 16 tooth sprocket on my 400ex but i want the guard and protection for racing also.

the stocker won't fit with a 16 tooth, i leave it off, I saw a race 400Ex with a 16 tooth and a Baldwin Racing case saver, they are advertised in Sport ATV for $35.00, it is worth it to save that expensive motor.

If you take your stock sprocket cover off. What do you do with the black neutral wire that goes in the side of the motor?

I re-routed it around the front of the starter, it fits perfect and keep it out of the sprocket.
