I called a dealer in Ontario and they informed me that the price is 9,999.00. It sounds like a good machine but my father in law got his 2001
Traxter XT, mud tire kit and Waren winch with it for 9100, the retail is the same as the RUBI. Honda will have to put a winch and lower the price if they want to compete. I got my 600CC Grizz with a winch for 8000.00. These ATV prices are getting out of hand, there ATV's not small cars.
Just my opinion and also of others i have spoken too.
2000 grizz

The dealer here said the same price. I think he is counting to much on die hard Honda fans who want one at any cost or he is delusional.

PRICE QUOTES HERE

Atic Cat 500 $8000
Susuki 500 Quadrunner $8000
Yamaha 600 Grizzly $8200
Polaris 2000 Sportsman with wintch $8150
H.O Sportsman $8400
Bombadier Traxter 500 $8500 with winch ,these bikes were $9000 for awhile untill the dealer smarten up.

Honda Rubicon $9999 (no joke) thats what the salesman said.

I have heard of other Canadian Price being different but the lowest one was still $9500.I also think they will have to come down alot with the price or they will have to include a wintch on both ends,27" Vamps all around, windshield, handwarmers and pay for the gas for a year to justify that price.

No clutch to replace.no belt to replace, aluminum rims,no disk pads to replace every 500 miles if lucky, better braking control for the steep hills we dare to go down, the feel of quality, durabilaty, good in the swamps,150 pouds lighter, more stable,no greae nipples to deal with,no rattles, and ruby is much quieter to drive.Ruby vs ho comparison tim,to me that is worth the 1000 $ i will spend now that you will spend later.

3 year now ,when does all the stuff start breaking? Replace the clutch? These clutches are like the ones found on snowmobiles and the $35 belt last 5 times longer on these low powered quades.Your outside Sudbury witch is big snowmachine country, how many old 70s snowmachines do you see still out there running around with the same old clutch. Hook up that fancy Ruby tranny to a 120HP 2 stroke tripple sled engine and lets see how it holds up.

We have about 5 inches of snow and it's -21 but the ice is forming great maybe no slush this year.I really have no problem with the Rubicon but I do with a saleman trying to get $9500 for a 500 Utility (any make) and people wanting $1000 for Sony Play Station 2. Go to the Artic Forum and their is a person from Taxas that said the Rubicon sell for less than a Polaris down there. If they can sell the Rubicon for a deal in Texas it should not be a fortune up here.

Unfortunately $6400 U.S works out to be $9600 Canadian.
