sorry if this is old news but i removed the sway bar on my kodiak. today i went riding at a place that had about any condition you could test. i was amazed! it seems like with the sway bar the irs isn't working as well as it should. i didn't have any more problem with a tippy feeling than i did with the bar. the only difference was it was hard to flat track on fast smooth turns. if you try it and don't like it's not very hard to bolt it back on.

the suspension on my rancher was to harsh. i was hoping honda would drop the foreman motor into a rincon type chassis. i went to the local yam, suz, polaris dealer and decided on the 05 kodiak. it's doing fine,it just needs more ground clearance.

I have an '05 Kodiak 450, but I don't see any swaybar on it. Where is the swaybar? I guess I just don't know what I'm looking for.

it's a u-shaped rod connected on the back frame. each end runs to some little tie rods on tabs ahead of the bottom shocks.

I have a new 07 Grizzly 450 (same thing as the Kodiak 450) and I took the sway bar off about two weeks ago. I have ridden it several times since then and all I can say is that IT IS NOT GOING BACK ON!
