Default Clutch Lever Raptor 700

Can someone tell me what the switch on the Clutch lever is? I am trying to put on an ASV clutch lever and there is some type of switch rider side of the clutch cable. If this is important, how do I get rid of it or how do I make it work with my lever? Thanks for any help

Yeah, I'm changing the perch too. Apparently its not a Hot Start. It has something to do with starting it in gear. I guess if you don't have the clutch pulled in it won't even attempt start in gear. This is the switch that controls that. If you happen to run into this, or anyone else that reads this. The Yamaha deal said you can loop it by removing the switch and connecting the wires to one another. Hope that works.
