Adjusting timing on a blaster

Alright. So put the exhaust back on and everything and it kinda seems like the timing is off, thats at least what my stepdad is saying. Is it possible to adjust the timing?

Here is a after market Adjustable timing plate...You cant do it with a stock plate..well im pretty sure you cant with a blaster...but if you had this one you can ajust your timing...You could have a bad coil..or cdi..or stator..You can take it to your local yamaha shop and they can test it to see what it is..or if you have a freind with a blaster you can inter change parts until you find the prob...
