Default New Glacier 2 VS Old Glacier

I read that the plow frame has been changed and is now called "Glacier2".

It's lighter, missing the rod with the red ****, and less expensive. And that doesn't tell me anything!

Does anyone own one? Can anyone explain the difference in mount proceedure or tell me if it's as strong and easy to attach vs the old style?

I just need more info. HELP!

I am curious as to where you read this?
I don't recall this info on the Polaris website.

I am looking to pick up a 52" or 56" Glacier this winter.

Thanks for the info and links.
I am going to have to see my local dealer
on the weekend to get some more info and pricing.

A lighter unit is always a good thing.
